Accounts & Administration Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Accounts & Administration professional to join our team at GCM Lighting, Electrical & Automotive in Tamworth, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations and administrative tasks for our growing company.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Performing all accounts payable and receivable functions including invoicing, processing payments, and reconciliations
- Maintaining detailed financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and procedures
- Preparing periodic financial reports for management
- Preparing and uploading pricing structures
- Providing administrative support across the business, including customer service, data entry, and filing
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and implement streamlined processes
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar accounts and administration role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in using ERP software and MS Office suite, specifically excel
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
